Monster Information
Behemoth is a twenty-five point monster and is available in purple and green, and the later neon green, neon red, neon yellow and violet rerelease colours. It was also one of the monsters included in the board game, in an exclusive pine green colour. The Behemoth figurine appears as a bipedal creature with a sclaed skin detail, with a large head and protuding tusks. Most, but not all, traditional renderings of Behemoth show it as a quadruped, and it is always described as having a tail, which the figure lacks.
Legend of Behemoth
Behemoth, also Behemot or Bahamut, is a vast creature mentioned in the Biblical Book of Job.
The word drives from the plural form of the Hebrew for beast or large animal, implying an especially huge creature; indeed, its is often thought to be intended as the largest and most mighty animal to ever exist. In the passage from Job 40:
15 Behold now the behemoth that I have made with you; he eats grass like cattle.
16 Behold now his strength is in his loins and his power is in the navel of his belly.
17 His tail hardens like a cedar; the sinews of his tendons are knit together.
18 His limbs are as strong as copper, his bones as a load of iron.
19 His is the first of God's ways; [only] his Maker can draw His sword [against him].
20 For the mountains bear food for him, and all the beasts of the field play there.
21 Does he lie under the shadows, in the cover of the reeds and the swamp?
22 Do the shadows cover him as his shadow? Do the willows of the brook surround him?
23 Behold, he plunders the river, and [he] does not harden; he trusts that he will draw the Jordan into his mouth.24 With His eyes He will take him; with snares He will puncture his nostrils. Behemoth is described as created along with Man; it is herbivorous, has strong muscles and bones, and lives in swamps.
In Jewish legend, Behemoth is the primal monster of the land, as Leviathan is of the waters and Ziz of the skies. It is said that Behemoth and Leviathan will battle at the end of days, and men will feast on their flesh once they have fallen. Other traditions claim that only God is capable of slaying the beasts.
Behemoth also appears in the Biblical Apocrypha, in 1 Enoch 60:
"And that day will two monsters be parted, one monster, a female named Leviathan in order to dwell in the abyss of the ocean over the fountains of water; and (the other), a male called Behemoth, which holds his chest in an invisible desert whose name is Dundayin, east of the garden of Eden."
In this telling, Behemoth is the male equivalent of the female Leviathan.
Biblical scholars have debated the meaning of these descriptions for many years. Since Behemoth is described along with mundane animals such as cattle and goats, it may be intended as an ordinary, but huge, animal, such as an elephant or hippopotamus. Some scholars particularly identify the beast with the elephant, siting the description of the tail as pertaining to the elephant's trunk. The Young Earth Creationists, on the other hand, propose that the animal was in fact a sauropod dinosaur, such as an Apatosaurus or Brachiosaurus, with the reasoning being that these were the largest land animals known to have existed. Behemoth also appears in other traditions. Persian legends identify it with Hadhayosh or Sarsaok, a monstrous ox, while the Arabic Bahamut is a mighty fish that supports the Earth on its back. The Dictionnaire Infernal includes Behemoth as a gluttonous, elephantine demon. The word survives in Russian and Ukrainian as the word for hippopotamus.

Behemoth, called "the king of animals" seems like a gigantic hippo. He spends his days feeding himself. When he's hungry he is capable of scooping out a fruit and vegetables shop in a blink of an eye and when he is thirsty he's capable to drain a lake in one sip. This appetite have already caused famine and drought all over the world. Although this monster does not devour people (he is a convinced vegetarian) his strength is so much, he can cut down an army in one backlash. Then, if you ever hear a gurgling, pray that is your stomach and not Behemoth.
