Species: Humanoid

Born: In 1868 in France

Habitat: Hidden places under old theaters

Phantom is a disfigured and creepy creature, that seems like a living skeleton. when he was a child he was so ugly that his mother to not see him covered his face with a bag. One day bought a mask and departed from home to become famous in the show business. Instead ended to live in the caverns below the Theater of the Opera of Paris. After many years of solitude and isolation he became mad. Phantom have fun to strangle people that bother him and to reverse melted wax over the public that disturb the play. Phantom has now abandoned Paris and is around theaters and cinemas terrorizing the audience.

2006 Series

Phantom is a monster in the class "The Ghosts." It is monster #42. This version of the Phantom strips away the nod to the Phantom of the Opera in favor of a more traditional ghastly Phantom. It appears as a green skinned creature wearing a whispy cowl and many purple capes, preferably to hide its face. It's trading card points total up to 211 points.

The Phantom is an elusive apparition who lurks in the shadows and seems to be nowhere and everywhere at the same time. His voice is heard but not his words. His presence can be felt but he is rarely seen. This ghoul is greatly feared for his random acts of violence so, WATCH OUT!!

Release

Phantom, along with Ghost and Grim Watcher in the 2006 series were not released in UK stores and markets and were only sold in Australia and South Africa. These 3 figures are very difficult and rare for collectors to find.

Trivia

The 2006 Phantom bears a slight resemblance to the Green Goblin from the Marvel Spiderman Comics and series, albeit both having green skin with goblin like features, and both wearing purple colored clothes.
